VENUS 2.5 E4 HARNESS

Hi Guys,I am installing a Venus 2.5 to a BMW M30 3.5 ltr, the crank has 60-2 pickup the dizzy has a magnetic inducter around #1 lead.My question is that my E24 harness is missing pin outs 5 and 11 so i cant use that trigger, is the dizzy inducter not used for the ECU and maybe jut for setting the initial engine timing, and will the ECU be able to do its thing with just the crank sensor.Thanks
